Dive deep into the elegant and meditative art of Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. This workshop will guide participants through the principles of line, form, and space that define this ancient and graceful art form, catering to beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Facilitator’s Profile:
Sonia Razzaque has been practicing Ikebana since 1997 and has completed the 1st Assistant Teacher Course under the Ohara School of Japan. She has worked with Japanese companies, taught under renowned Ikebana teachers in Dhaka, and conducted numerous workshops and demonstrations across Bangladesh, including at Ramu and Dhaka Cantonments. Her work has been showcased internationally, including at World Expo 2020 in Dubai.

Workshop Outline:
- Introduction to Ikebana: History and significance of Ikebana and Basic principles of line, form, harmony, shape and colors.
- Understanding essential tools: Basic flower arrangement techniques
- Hands-On Session: Guided arrangement based on participant level. Focus on creating balanced, elegant compositions.
- Participants will receive all necessary materials for the workshop.
