Facilitator’s Profile:
Tristan Haque is an artist, designer and architect based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She uses traditional media, as they are always exciting to handle, and often unpredictable. Working with paper is her signature- how a single piece of paper can be shaped into something incredibly intricate, has always fascinated her. In her works- she continues to explore how origami and its folds can be used in design and art.

Workshop Outline:
Learn the Basics:
- Master foundational folding techniques.
- Understand and explore key base patterns.
Create & Explore:
- Craft 3-4 unique origami models, gradually advancing in complexity.
Session Breakdown:
1. Introduction to Origami Basics (15 mins):
- Explore the types and styles of origami.
- Demonstrate essential folds and techniques.
- Fold a simple model to practice and prepare.
2. Hands-on Session:
- Model 1: Folding an Origami Shark (Beginner Level).
- Model 2: Folding an Origami Dragon (Intermediate Level).
- Model 3: Folding an Infinity Flexagon (Intermediate Level).
Participants will receive all necessary supplies for the workshop.
